Adam Guest

Adam Guest is a singer-songwriter from Barnsley, now living in Shetland.

With a Yorkshire burr and finely crafted songs, Adam is a regular of the isles music scene, as well as clocking up festival appearances in Shetland, Yorkshire and Celtic Connections in Glasgow.

Guest has supported a host of top folk musicians, singer-songwriters and bands including Admiral Fallow, Declan O'Rourke, Courtney Marie Andrews and Kris Drever.

His self-penned tunes, a mixture of folk and blues, have featured on BBC Radio Sheffield's Saturday night Introducing show.

Guest is joined with his new band of Kirsten Hendry on fiddle, David Sjoberg on bass, Ben Davies on guitar and Mark Smith on drums.

All heavily involved in the Shetland gig circuit, their sound us is anchored in storytelling with plenty of punch.
