Fraser Jamieson

Fraser Jamieson, a young musician from Vidlin has music in his blood.

Born into a very musical family Fraser has been brought up surrounded by music of all genres and has always enjoyed a good tune. In 2018 Fraser was one of the young local fiddlers chosen to join ‘From Vermont to Shetland’ at the Folk Festival. A very able fiddle and guitar player although latterly guitar has been his chosen instrument and he has also been persuaded by his peers to sing, making appearances at various local charity concerts.

We are very excited about Fraser being part of our Local line-up this year and think he is definitely one to watch!  He will appear as part of this year's event dedicated to showcasing some of Shetland's up and coming talent, Blazin' a Trail.
