Arthur Nicholson

Arthur Nicholson was born with a guitar in his arms and has been mentored by his dad, Brian, since he was able to hold the instrument.

He has been heavily involved in the Shetland music scene from an early age. Although he has focused primarily on playing guitar, he has recently started focusing on writing his own songs. He released his debut album 'Sticks & Stones' in November of 2013.

Congratulations to Arthur Nicholson on winning a 'Danny Kyle Award' at Celtic Connections Open Stage 2014. Only 6 of these are presented after nearly three weeks of the event. A well deserved award for a great young musician.
