So many exciting visiting and local bands have performed at the Shetland Folk Festival so we feel it's important to have an archive, to provide a snapshot of our past Festivals.
If you are new to the festival maybe the archive will give you a little insight into the world of Shetland Folk Festival.
We're very proud of our Festival and for carrying on the traditions and ethos that were embedded at the very first festival in 1981. Inevitably, the Festival has evolved through the years and particularly in the wide range of music that is programmed. However, our pride in our musical heritage, our fiddle tunes and community is still at the heart of everything we do.
