Drawing on influences from many different genres, The Elephant Sessions create a progressive blend of intricate tunes, engulfing guitars, monsterous bass and pounding drums.
Already renowned for their breathtaking live shows, 2014 saw the band climb to new heights with the release of their debut album: The Elusive Highland Beauty which achieved much critical acclaim.
The band met at university and consists of Euan Smillie on fiddle, Mark Bruce on electric and acoustic guitar, Greg Barry on drums, Alasdair Taylor on mandolin and Seth Tinsley on bass.
Their ceilidh-esque sound combined with undertones of ska, rock and funk will definitely leave you beating a trail to the dance floor!
