Isles three piece Arc formed last summer - with honest songwriting and folk inflected melodies at the fore.

Lana Fraser (accordion, piano and vocals), Adam Guest (guitar and vocals) and Gary Smith (guitar and bass) found common ground after Yorkshire singer-songwriter Guest returned to Shetland following a six month spell in Aberdeen.

Smith and Fraser have gigged regularly both in the isles and on the mainland, with Fraser a winner of the prestigious Danny Kyle award at Celtic Connections and Guest also invited to play at the event.

All three are familiar faces at the Shetland folk festival with Fraser and Smith performing with Shetland songbirds Sheila Henderson and Freda Leask last year.

Meanwhile Guest has performed solo sets in recent years as well as with fellow Shetland newcomers Soothmoothers.

To complete their line-up for the Fok Festival Isaac Webb and Kirsten hendry will be joining them.
