George Spence and Bryden Priest

Comprising of two winners of Shetland's Young Fiddler of the year, George Spence and Bryden Priest are a tremendously talented duo, both from Uyeasound in Unst, Shetland's most northerly island.

Talented youngster George Spence was announced the Shetland Young Fiddler of the Year in 2017 and in the same year picked up the Curley Jamieson Memorial Cup for the junior tune competion.  

Bryden Priest claimed this prestigous title two years earlier but for this appearance at the Shetland Folk Festival, he will be accompanying George on the piano.

Over the last couple of years they have performed at a number of local concerts with George on fiddle and Bryden on piano and have been going down a storm.

This is a duo that is sure to set the room alight!
