Price

Prices for tickets vary depending on the concert, but will fall into three brackets: Member, Non-Member and Child Member/Child Non-Member

Adult Members concert ticket prices in 2024 will range from £16 - £21, Adult Non-members £20 - £27 and Child tickets will be considerably cheaper ranging from £8 - £13.  The shorter Peerie Spang concert targetted at families with young children will have ticket prices ranging from £6 to £10 (which you will not be able to attend unless accompanied by a young person!)

Child price tickets are available to young people under the age of 18.  Legion LATE concerts will be Over 18s only, and Festival Club LATES will be for anyone aged 14 and over. Children aged 14-17 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times at the Festival Club LATES.

Children under the age of 2 on the first day of the Festival (2nd May 2024) do not need to have concert tickets, as long as they are not occupying a seat during any of the ticketed events.

None of our concert venues operate with allocated or numbered seating BUT for customers with mobility or impairment issues, please contact the Festival organisers in advance and we will be happy to make provisions for early access and/or reserved seating at our ticketed venues.

All-Inclusive Tickets

The Shetland Folk Festival do not currently offer all-inclusive tickets for the festival, and have no plans to do so. An individual ticket must be purchased for every concert you wish to attend.

Sales

Tickets go on sale to Early Members at 6pm (UK time) on the Monday 18th March 2024. Given the high demand, even early members may not get the tickets of their choice. However, there is always good ticket availability when tickets go on sale to all at 6pm UK time on Monday 25th March 2024.

Each Member may only purchase one membership priced afternoon concert ticket, one membership priced evening concert ticket and one Late ticket per festival day.  Non-members tickets will only go on sale to all, one week after sale opens to early members.

Online ticket sales will close at 6pm on Tuesday 30th April (to enable the organisers to process all orders before transferring offices from Burns Lane to the Festival Club). If there are any remaining tickets available to purchase they will be available during the festival from the SFFS Shop at the Festival Club during shop opening hours (Thurs, Fri & Sat - 11am - 5pm)

You can pay online using a PayPal account, or by using a Credit/Debit card. You will be emailed a receipt of your purchase, so please make sure you enter your email address correctly.
