Soothmoothers

Soothmoothers formed last year when five folk-music-loving individuals met in Shetland's thriving music scene.

The five piece group comprises Sarah Brown (fiddle, vocals), Catherine Brown (fiddle, vocals), Gemma Graham (fiddle, vocals), Adam Guest (guitar, vocals) and Kirsty North (clarsach). Soothmoothers represents each members recent move to Shetland and where they are originally from: Elie, Beauly, Barnsley and the Black Isle. They play music influenced by their diverse musical backgrounds offering a mixture of traditional tunes and original compositions.
