Big Time Quell

Big Time Quell are a four piece act that are inspired by the sounds of gypsy folk and humour. Formerly a duo featuring Jamie Hatch and Thomas Jones, the recent inclusion of Chris Cope and Robert Balfour has allowed the band to make their sound as full as they always intended.

Big Time Quell have had a busy 2015 with a number of gig under their belt such as peformances at The Shetland Jazz Festival, Shetland Reel Festival, The Shetland Rock Festival and most recently being the sole support for The Blockheads at their recent Mareel gig. The band has a sound that can cater to fans of most genres, and hope to win over the folk festival crowd for the very first time! (if we are so lucky to be considered for a spot!).
