Cajun Country Revival

Spanning generations, quartet The Cajun Country Revival is a veritable supergroup of American roots musicians who have delighted audiences around the world by celebrating the genre that unites them – Cajun and early Country music.

This dynamic group harkens back to the sound of that era and breathes new life into the American roots music scene. Comprised of multi-talented musicians from across North America, the Cajun Country Revival is a powerhouse group that plays their music with such a joyful spirit the audience can’t help but have fun. The band is led by Louisiana based Cajun legend Jesse Lége – a genius on the Cajun accordion and a wonderful singer. Jesse has won every award a Cajun musician can win from the Cajun French Music Association and has been inducted into the Cajun Music Hall of Fame. Taking the stage with him is two-time winner of Cajun French Music Awards ‘Fiddler of the Year’ and nine-time Grammy nominee Joel Savoy who has been a driving force in the Cajun renaissance of the new millenium. He has worked or played with several very well-known names including John Fogerty, Linda Ronstadt and Steve Earle. Joining Jesse and Joel are Sammy Lind on guitar and Nadine Landry on double bass who have previously performed at the Shetland Folk Festival with the much loved and highly respected Foghorn Stringband.

We can’t wait to hear them putting the Country back in Cajun music!
