Arthur Nicholson is an award winning and established singer/songwriter heavily involved in the Shetland music scene from an early age.
Having mainly focused on playing guitar in a number of local bands (including Shetland's premier party band, First Foot Soldiers) he released a solo acoustic album titled “Sticks & Stones” in 2013 and since then has released a number of tracks at a local level. He has opened for a number artists visiting Shetland, most recently Grammy winner Sarah Jarosz and Willy Mason and won a Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections back in 2014, returning the following year as an established act.
