First Foot Soldiers

First Foot Soldiers

First Foot Soldiers are a Shetland based band that play a wide range of classic rock and pop songs from the 20th century.

Formed in late 2010, First Foot Soldiers have established themselves as one of Shetland's most in-demand live acts. Their live debut came on Boxing Day of 2010, and the band have been marching forward ever since, playing gigs all over the Isles, in all sorts of venues, and supporting some big acts on the way.

They've become known for their 'attention to detail' covers, their harmonies, and the variety of sounds and songs they traverse during a show, and their performance of Bohemian Rhapsody at the Festival Club in 2012 will live long in the memory of those that packed into Room 16 during the early hours of Sunday that year. Band members are Robert Balfour on Drums, Arthur Nicholson on Lead Guitar, Chris Thomson on Keyboard and Shaun Strachan on Bass.
