Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe & Daniel Quayle

Blending the rich musical heritage of the Isle of Man with the dynamic sounds of synth pop and Eurofolk, Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe & Daniel Quayle bring a dramatic and captivating energy to the folk music scene.

Since the release of their debut album, The Coast Road (2022), this duo has enchanted audiences across Europe and beyond with a sound that is both rooted in tradition and brimming with innovation. Their performances offer a vibrant fusion of traditional Manx, Irish, Scottish, and Estonian influences.

Boston-born fiddler Elizabeth Davidson-Blythe and Manx multi-instrumentalist Daniel Quayle craft a unique musical journey, seamlessly shifting from high-energy reels to contemplative airs. Their aim is to bring Manx music to a wider audience, and their reputation has quickly grown with appearances at prestigious festivals such as Celtic Connections (2024), the Australian Celtic Festival (2024), and Estonia’s Viljandi Folk Music Festival (2021).

With a highly anticipated second album slated for release in 2025, Elizabeth and Daniel continue to build on their fresh approach to Manx music, keeping their performances dynamic and evolving. As they tour internationally, their mission remains clear: to share the distinctive sounds of the Isle of Man with audiences worldwide, merging tradition with bold, contemporary innovation.
