Evergreen

Evergreen have been singing together since primary school under the instruction of Maria Barclay who leads the Dialect Singing Project in Shetland Schools.

The group also sing folk and country songs as well as dialect.  Now all in S5 they love performing some of the wealth of dialect songs found in Shetland.  They all won Gold awards at the Shetland Schools Music Festival for their solo and duets and the special Dialect prize trophy.  Further success and a special moment came when they were awarded a  prestigious,Hands up For Trad, Scotland Sings Chorus Award last year.
