Arthur Nicholson

Arthur Nicholson is an established singer/songwriter heavily involved in the Shetland music scene from an early age.

He played his first ever solo concert at the Shetland Folk Festival in 2013 and released his debut album later that year. He has opened for a number of established artists that have visited Shetland including Dean Owens, Ricky Ross, Martyn Simpson and Devon Sproule. In 2015 he was involved in a project called Between Islands with fellow Scottish islanders Willie Campbell and Kris Drever.

For 2017 he has asked some special guests along to keep him company. These include Kris Drever, Chris Thomson (First Foot Soldiers/Trookers), Robert Balfour (First Foot Soldiers/Trookers) and John-William Halcrow ( Revellers and Dirty Lemons).
