Shetland Folk Festival is open to applications from Shetland based Local Artistes for 2014. E-mail [email protected] for an application form and tell us about your group.

Dates for your diary!! Yes we are already thinking about 2014 so the dates are: 1st May-4th May 2014.

Please note that the Festival shop at 5 Burns Lane closed on Sunday 28th April.

The Festival Shop at 5 Burns Lane will be open on 27th April for face-to-face and telephone sales of tickets and memberships from 12noon to 3pm.

Shetland music duo, Blyde Lasses, are launching their debut album of folk songs and tunes at Shetland Folk Festival on Friday 3rd May 2013, 12.30-2pm.

Musicians from Orkney and Shetland are set to join forces in spectacular style this May, through a collaborative project being staged by both islands’ folk festivals.
