Kollifirbolli

‘Kollifirbolli’ is the Shetland dialect word for topsy-turvy/head over heels.

As Kollifirbolli, Astryd and Kaela Jamieson and Mary Rutherford have played widely throughout the isles, in events such as the Shetland Folk Festival, the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival, Glusstonberry and Fiddle Frenzy. The girls have released two recordings with the most recent being their album, ‘careful mixing is the secret to success’, which was released in December 2012. Their first recording, ‘The loveliest new version of a favourite style’, was released as an EP (extended playlist) in 2011.
