          Saturday 5th May

          Venue: Festival Club (Islesburgh)

Based on James' book of the same name, BOOSTER UKE takes you from "ho-hum" to "big fun" in a relaxed, stress-free way. The secret is Chord Twins, a simple technique that will change the way you play. This is the first time we've had a Ukulele workshop at the Festival - and James Hill is one of the best so don't miss this fantastic opportunity.

          Venue: Festival Club (Islesburgh)

Seeing as fiddle player Clare Friel has just become the Young Traditional Musician of the Year at the TG4 Gradam Ceoil Awards in Ireland, we thought it would be great if she and the Friel Sisters could lead on a workshop. Come along and learn some Irish tunes in Room 10

For a different sort of a dance workshop this year (we usually do Shetland dancing), come along to Room 16 at 2pm on the Sunday and join Pete's Posse from Vermont as they lead on a Contra Dance Workshop. A fantastic opportunity for both Shetlanders and visitors to learn a new type of dancing.
