The Shetland Collective (formerly known as 'The Gathering')

Formed for the 2013 Shetland Folk Festival, The Shetland Collective brings together some of the finest local talent.

The band have shared the stage with the 'Orkney Gathering' as well as performing most recently at the 2014 Davie Henderson's Peerie Christmas Spree. The band take great pride in featuring primarily self-penned songs and tunes as well as a heavy bias towards other Shetland compositions.
