Fiddle Finale were formed over 15 years ago from a number of young players who enjoyed making music, and currently comprises 9 fiddles and 1 cello. They are all of school age so the group therefore evolves and moves on every year as players leave school.
With an ever changing membership, there is always a freshness about their music which ranges from the obvious Scottish and Shetland repertoire to Canadian, Scandanavian, and even Eastern European. One of the pieces played last year which got very positive feedback was a short movement of one of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos! In other words you never know exactly what to expect!
