Flukra

Featuring four musicians who regularly play together in sessions in Shetland, Flukra make their debut at this year’s festival.

The band comprises Juan Brown (whistles), Carolyn Johnston (fiddle), Robbie Leask (guitar), and Kirsty North (clarsach).

Flukra (‘gently falling snow’ - Shetlandic and Scots) provides a gentler take on some old and new tunes from Ireland, Scotland, Shetland, France and America.
