North Ness Boys & Family

Three brothers Aubrey, Clive and Trevor Jamieson have been performing as The North Ness Boys at venues throughout Shetland (and occasionally beyond) for a good few years now, exuding the obvious chemistry that you'd expect from a band of siblings

Primarily a Gospel outfit, they combine beautiful three part harmonies with bass, guitar, mandolin/banjo for what they describe as  'a kind of bluegrassy sound'.  They have produced three CDs so far, Sea of Life released in 2010, Sweet By and By in May 2015 and Christmas with the North Ness Boys Live at Mareel in November 2015.

They will be joined for the 2022 festival by some young members of their family. Dougie, Murray and and Ollie Jamieson. We really look forward to hearing the next generation performing with them and in the beautiful surroundings of St Columba's kirk!
