Sean Mclaughlin & the Wind Up Crows

Featuring Shetland ex-pats Seán McLaughlin (Bressay) and Vicky Gray (Aith),

The Wind-Up Crows is a new project from members of the critically acclaimed indie-rock band, Dante. Their music incorporates elements of Scottish, and Irish traditional music, as well as americana and folk rock. They have already received support from BBC 6 Music and Radio Scotland, whilst Folk Radio UK have hailed the band as a “…a tremendous rootsy collision of Americana and folk influences”. Their debut album, co-produced by Andy Monaghan (Frightened Rabbit) and Jeremy Backofen (The Felice Brothers) is due for release in 2024.
