The Brother Brothers

The Brother Brothers

Based in Brooklyn, New York, twin brothers Adam and David Moss are a musical acoustic duo unlike any other. Often leaning towards the darker, moody elements of Appalachian folk and bluegrass traditions, their songs are laden with near perfect sibling harmonies, compelling writing, and imaginative arrangements.

Those with fingers on the pulse of what’s happening Stateside, are already aware of the reputation developed by The Brother Brothers from stunning live performances that have had the grapevine buzzing. With their individual storied music careers under their belts, the brothers have finally teamed up to bring their experiences together and create a sound that is striking and undeniably captivating.

With David on cello and guitar, and Adam on the 5-string fiddle, the Brother Brothers released their EP Tugboats in January 2017 and a full length album is in the pipeline for early 2018. Adam loves and plays in the klezmer, bluegrass, old-time and swing traditions which lends itself to a very unique and innovative style. David began his musical journey playing cello and singing in various formats. After receiving a degree in cello performance from University of Illinois, he began playing guitar and writing songs and went on to become a winner at the prestigious New Folk competition.

Don’t miss their rich harmonies and thoughtful songs accompanied by guitar, cello, violin and banjo – performed as only a group like the Brother Brothers can.
