Ross Miller Band

World Champion bagpiper Ross Miller, whose engaging music and performance style has already been thrilling audiences the world over, is making his debut performance in Shetland with a fired up line-up of Scottish musical talent.

As well as being a member of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Ross showcases his own infectious passion and flare with the Ross Miller Band - Charlie Stewart (Fiddle), Rory Matheson (keys), Graeme Armstrong (Guitar) Rory Grindlay (Drums) and Ruairidh MacLean (Bass).

Ross has secured a range of nominations and accolades through his musical career to date. Ross won a Danny Kyle Award at Celtic Connections, he was a finalist in the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year and his debut album - The Roke - received a nomination for Trad Album of the Year at the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.

2025 was a fantastic year for the Ross Miller Band marked by festivals, sold-out shows, and a successful debut UK tour. Ross and his band are very much looking forward to building on this momentum this year and we are utterly delighted to host them as part of our 2026 lineup!

"Listen to the second set, which sails seamlessly through waltzes and a Breton tune, to slip into exuberant overdrive..." ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ The Scotsman
